SHAW will be hoping to stay in touch with leaders Bamford Fieldhouse when they entertain Stayley in the the Armstrongs Office Furniture Saddleworth and District Cricket League tomorrow.
Second-placed Shaw, who trail the top dogs by 19 points, will take on fourth-placed opponents who have suffered two defeats on the bounce.
Moorside will have the odds stacked against them when they travel to Bamford, while mid-table Uppermill will be aiming to spring a surprise at third-placed Heyside.
Friarmere have the daunting prospect of a home game against Bamford on Sunday, but Shaw will fancy their chances at Glodwick.
Saddleworth can close the gap on Moorside at the wrong end of the table if they beat them away from home, while a close one to call is Uppermill against Greenfield, with a single point separating the clubs.
Tomorrow: Shaw v Stayley; Saddleworth v Glodwick; Bamford Fieldhouse v Moorside; Greenfield v Friarmere; Heyside v Uppermill; Droylsden v Austerlands.
Sunday: Glodwick v Shaw; Moorside v Saddleworth; Friarmere v Bamford Fieldhouse; Uppermill v Greenfield; Austerlands v Heyside; Hollinwood v Droylsden.
