ROYTON Road Runners produced a string of impressive performances in the Rochdale 10k, the latest race in the club’s championship.
Pride of place went to Stuart Carroll, who was comfortably the first Royton member to cross the line in eighth place (37 minutes and 14 seconds).
It was Carroll’s ninth win out of nine club championship races, and he has an unassailable lead in the 2010 series.
Mark Kelly continued his great improvement with yet another personal best time of 41:09 — an incredible 10 minutes faster than he achieved in last year’s race.
