Boro facing busy spell of action

FOOTBALL: OLDHAM Boro kick-off a feverish spell of pre-season friendlies with a game against Manchester League outfit Hollinwood at Chapel Road tomorrow (1.30pm).
Tony Mills’ side, who open their Vodkat North-West Counties League campaign on Saturday, August 7, welcome FC United to the Whitebank Stadium on July 15 (7.30pm).
Boro’s other warm-up games are —
July 17, Ramsbottom (H) 3pm; July 24, Santos (at Hopwood Hall) 2pm; July 31 Radcliffe Town (A) 3pm.
Vics return to training
OLDHAM Victoria FC, who run two teams in the Lancashire and Cheshire League, start pre-season training at North Manchester RUFC on Tuesday (7pm).
Old and new players are welcome to attend.
