Heyside seeking consistency

HEYSIDE, who returned to second place in the Armstrongs Office Furniture Saddleworth and District Cricket League with victory over Hollinwood last weekend, will look to carry on the good work at home to Droylsden tomorrow.
It was a welcome win for Nick Campbell’s side as they had lost their previous three games to slip behind Shaw in the standings.
Shaw are on a comeback mission at Friarmere.
The Holebottom Clough outfit slipped to third place after crashing to 80 all out at Moorside, and they can expect a tough contest tomorrow as their hosts are in a rich vein of form, having won their last five league games.
Bamford Fieldhouse, the leaders, are away to Austerlands.
Tonight, Twenty20 Cup, round two (6.30pm): Austerlands v Glodwick; Moorside v Greenfield; Uppermill v Droylsden; Saddleworth v Heyside.
Tomorrow, league (1.45pm): Stayley v Moorside; Friarmere v Shaw; Uppermill v Saddleworth; Austerlands v Bamford Fieldhouse; Hollinwood v Greenfield; Heyside v Droylsden. Open date: Glodwick.
Sunday, LCB Cup quarter-final (2pm): Uppermill v Littleborough.
THE Saddleworth League colts are at home to the Lancashire County League at Saddleworth CC on Sunday.
The group ‘A’ Reader Lancashire Inter-League match starts at 1.30pm and the Saddleworth League will be captain by Greenfield’s Alex Peters.
The Central Lancashire League are away to the North Lancashire and Cumbria League in group ‘B’
