GOLF: LISA Hall became a major winner when she took first prize in Lady-Captain’s Day at Werneth.

Lisa had rounds of 89-22-67 and 89-21-68 for a total of 135, which gave her a four-shot victory over Fiona Dooley (75-5-70 and 74-5-69 for 139).

Made Griffiths (94-24-70) was the Thursday first division winner, while second division honours went to Glynis Jones (96-32-64).

Sylvia Haq (84-16-68) won the Saturday first division, while the second division prize went to Sylvia Grant (104-36-68).

The 36-handicap prize was won by Sally Newton (113-36-77 and 107-36-71 for 148) and the putting prize was scooped by Marilyn Griffin with 19 points.
