Failsworth falter in face of tall order

CRICKET: FAILSWORTH Macedonia had it all to do after they conceded 384 runs against East Lancs PM in division one of the Site Electrical North Manchester League.
And the tough task was beyond Failsworth, who were bowled out for 148.
Springhead experienced mixed fortunes over the weekend.
They suffered a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Littleborough Lakeside, but hit back to beat Blackley by 101 runs.
Greenfield thirds also enjoyed victory in division three, dismissing Elton Vale thirds for 107 in reply to 150 all out.
