CRICKET: EILEEN Bartram, who served on Heyside Cricket Club’s committee for many years, has died at the age of 67 after losing a long battle with cancer.
She filled various positions at the club, including being a much-loved member of the tea ladies team. She was treasurer and served on the club’s entertainments committee until earlier this year when she became too ill to continue.
Members of Heyside CC have expressed their condolences to Eileen’s family.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday at St Mark’s Church, Heyside, at 2.15pm, followed by Oldham Crematorium at 3.30pm.
