Oldham women on Shield trail

GOLF: OLDHAM’S women have reached the South-East finals of the Lancashire Handicap Shield after topping their group
They will play their semi-final – and hopefully the final – at Woolton Golf Club in Liverpool on August 16.
Jane Antrobus won the club’s Edwards Trophy with a round of 87-17-60, beating Janet Kershaw (83-13-70) in a card play-off, with Liz Johnson (85014-71) in third.
