BOWLS:

GREATER Manchester women have already secured a place in the County Championship semi-finals, but they will top their group if beating North Shropshire on Sunday (2pm).

The home leg will be played at Delph, where local bowlers in action will be home-green players Eileen Dawson and Karen Houlston, Alma Tickle (Coalshaw), Diane Bowker (Oldham RU), Joan Horton (Diggle) and Christine Kewley and Janelle Pertoldi (Springbank).
