CRICKET: SECOND face third when Heyside host Glodwick in the Armstrongs Office Furniture Saddleworth and District Cricket League tomorrow.
Heyside, currently 11 points better off than the visitors, will be hoping home advantage helps them extend the gap.
Skipper Nick Campbell said: “This is a big game for us because we want to finish second and it is very close.
“Last week Mark Barnes, the ex-captain, played for the first time this season and scored 50 so he will keep his place.
“Considering he is 53, Mark did brilliantly.”
Leaders Bamford Fieldhouse host fifth-placed Shaw, who have won exactly half of their games this season.
Hollinwood’s game in hand on bottom side Saddleworth sees them take on Friarmere at home. The hosts are only nine points ahead of the basement boys.
A midtable clash pitches Droylsden with Moorside, who are unbeaten in all competitions since June 27.
Uppermill travel to Nursery Fields to face Austerlands and Greenfield welcome Stayley to Ladhill Lane.
