Skipper downs Mossley

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY suffered a stuttering start to their Evo-Stik League Division One season with a 1-0 home defeat to Bamber Bridge.
Visiting skipper Michael White got on the scoresheet after 10 minutes and, despite constant pressure from The Lilywhites thereafter, an equaliser never presented itself.
CHADDERTON’S unbeaten start to the campaign was shattered by a 1-0 defeat at Daisy Hill in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Paul Buckley’s men were always going to struggle following Gareth Morris’s dismissal in the 10th minute for retaliation.
A penalty after 31 minutes, given away by goalkeeper Lee Swanson and converted by Daniel Gregory, was the winner.
OLDHAM Boro were the victims of a superb individual performance in their 3-1 home loss to Runcorn Town.
Opposition striker Emini Adegbenro bagged a hat-trick against Tony Mills’ depleted outfit.
Boro went behind after three minutes before Sean Roscoe’s leveller after 26 minutes.
But further Adegbenro strikes after 58 and 62 minutes gave the visitors all three points.
