Avro turn on style for first victory

FOOTBALL: AVRO shook off their stuttering start to the season in the Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester League Premier Division with a 4-0 win at Royton Town.

Rob Fuller’s men went two games without a victory but bounced back in fine style to prove the doubters wrong.

Hollinwood went down to a 2-1 home reverse at the hands of Leigh Athletic before an 8-1 drubbing at Hindsford compounded their misery, and Springhead lost 3-2 to Old Alts and 2-1 to Bury Amateurs.
