Tough home test in store for Rangers

RUGBY LEAGUE: SADDLEWORTH Rangers play their second home match of the season tonight, against nearby Halifax outfit Siddal (7.30pm kick-off).
Last year's National Conference League grand final runners-up, champions the previous season, will be a tough nut to crack for Keith Brennan's side.
Pipped to the title by Leigh East, Siddal recovered from an opening-day defeat at home to Wath Brow to see off York Acorn 16-6 a week ago, with former Roughyeds hooker Simeon Hoyle starting the game in the number nine role.
Rangers picked up their own first victory away at fellow promoted side Bradford Dudley Hill.
Tom Dransfield's dramatic late try seized two points for the Greenfield outfit, who won the game 22-18 to rise to 10th in the early-season premier division table.
