Resilient Oldham off to perfect start

DARTS: OLDHAM Men’s GMC Super Eights darts team got their season off to a flying start courtesy of a 7-3 win at Bury.
Ian Walters got the visitors on track thanks to a 4-1 victory, with an average of 78.37 every three darts.
Lee Williams won 4-2 (73.27) before Bury pulled one back.
Scott Morris extended Oldham’s lead with a 4-2 triumph (65.45) but the hosts won the next two matches to level matters at 3-3.
However, Oldham raised their game to win four on the trot.
