Kennedy makes his mark

SNOOKER:
MARTIN Kennedy’s fine break of 74 was the highlight as Little Cot ‘A’ swept aside Nimble Nook 6-0 to go top of the Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
Dave Newton set the ball rolling, before M Healey and D Balcerzack added frames two and three.
Kennedy added the fourth, before Ryan Balcerzack completed the rout.
CBC were also in the mood for a whitewash. They had a tough fixture at Springbank ‘B’, but they were more than up to the task and completed a 6-0 victory.
Reigning champions Stanley Road got off to a bit of a shaky start, but they returned to winning ways with a 6-0 defeat of Little Cot ‘B’.
