RUGBY LEAGUE: OLDHAM St Anne’s start life in Division One of the National Conference League tomorrow with a visit to Oulton Raiders.
It’s a tough assignment for Mick Cashin’s side against opponents who were relegated at the end of last season.
Raiders began their campaign with a victory, but had to work hard against Stanley Rangers before winning 22-12.
In the Premier Division, Saddleworth Rangers have a doubt over Josh Brown (shoulder) for the visit of East Hull, while Danny Adams is still missing through injury.
Back in contention for places after Rangers’ 30-22 defeat at Hull Dockers, are Danny Earley, Ben Pritchard and Tom Kilgannon.
Waterhead made a fine start to their Division Two campaign with a 24-10 win over Ovenden which Garry Highton’s men will hope to follow up at East Leeds.
