MOSSLEY manager Shaun Higgins believes his young side are full of confidence ahead of tomorrow’s home game against Skelmersdale United in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.
The Lilywhites secured a first league win of the season in their last game, beating AFC Fylde 2-0.
And Higgins can see his new-look team starting to gel.
He said: “We have now gone five games unbeaten, and have got that first league victory under our belts.
“I can see the confidence in the players. They want to build on recent results.”
Martin Kay (knee) is doubtful for tomorrow’s game, but Mike Oates (ankle) is expected to be fit.
OLDHAM Boro go to Abbey Hey in the FA Carlsberg Vase second qualifying round tomorrow.
Nick Murphy and Sean Roscoe are suspended, but everyone else is available for selection.
Boro have signed Tim Buxton from Santos as player-coach. Defender Buxton, who broke his foot two seasons ago in his first spell as a Boro player, will not feature tomorrow but will start training next week.
