Oldham St Anne's got off the mark in National Conference League Division One, beating Stanley Rangers 30-16 at Higginshaw Road.
Saddleworth Rangers tasted defeat in Division One, going down 48-10 away at West Hull.
In Division Two, Waterhead lost 28-6 at home to Castleford Lock Lane.
