SADDLEWORTH Rangers fell to a fourth defeat of the season in the NCL Premier Division.
West Hull were the Greenfield outfit’s conquerers, seeing off the visitors 48-10.
In a game refereed by former Super League star Jamie Bloem, West Hull blasted out of the blocks to score five first-half tries. Lee Gomersall, Tom Radley, Brett Turner, Reece Lazenby and Stuart Leake all crossed in the opening period, Turner adding four goals for a 28-0 lead.
Rangers started the second half brightly, only for Lazenby to strike with an interception try after Adam Jeffrey had provided hope with an effort which Michael Coates converted.
Brian Newby and Johan Windley added further tries and after Turner had kicked two more conversions, Danny Attersall managed a late consolation as Saddleworth dropped into the division’s bottom three.
