RUGBY LEAGUE: BUOYED by clinching a first win of the season, Oldham St Anne’s play host to third-placed Ince Rose Bridge in Division One of the National Conference League tomorrow.
Mick Cashin’s men got off the mark with a 30-16 defeat of Stanley Rangers, which included fine displays from Jordan White and Kiel Lancashire in the halves and Simon Parrish and Phil Jagger in the pack.
In the top flight, Saddleworth Rangers are in need of a pick-me-up at home to York Acorn.
The Greenfield outfit suffered their fourth defeat of the season when they went down 48-10 at West Hull.
But the visit of York looks an ideal chance for Rangers to get back on track as their opponents are second from bottom, with only one win from their opening six matches.
Waterhead are also on a recovery mission at high-flying Eastmoor Dragons in Division Two.
Garry Highton’s side paid the penalty for a slow start at home to Castleford Lock Lane — they lost 28-6.
