Mossley on Gazza alert
Date published: 27 September 2010
FOOTBALL:
PAUL Gascoigne could be in the opposition dugout at Mossley tomorrow.
The former England midfielder is in talks with Garforth Town with a view to becoming their new manager.
Should a deal be confirmed, his first game in charge will be the visit to Seel Park in an Evo-Stik Division One North clash (7.45pm kick-off).
Mossley boss Shaun Higgins said: “The Garforth players will be trying to impress their new manager, so it will be difficult for us.
“Obviously Paul Gascoigne attracts a lot of interest so it will be quite an occasion.
“I have never come across him in football before but he was a fantastic player and we are looking forward to tomorrow night.”
