Oldham rejuvenated

BUOYED by registering a first win of the season, Oldham RU go to Eccles tomorrow in North Lancs and Cumbria Division One.
Guy Lovegreen’s side ended a run of three consecutive defeats with a nail-biting 13-12 victory at home to St Benedicts.
Second-placed Eccles will offer a much sterner test, but with fit-again Gareth Barber and another ex-Roughyeds player Ian Sinfield in the ranks, Oldham will be hoping to carry on the good work.
