MOSSLEY go into tomorrow’s Carlsberg FA Trophy first qualifying round tie at home to Kidsgrove Athletic on the crest of a wave.
The Lilywhites are buzzing after securing their first win on their own patch, Shaun Higgins’ men coming from behind to beat Garforth Town 2-1 on Tuesday.
“It was a psychological barrier and it was great to move past it by getting the three points,” said Higgins.
Graham Kay (knee) and Mike Fish (dead leg) miss tomorrow’s game, but Darryl Weston is expected to shake off his ankle injury.
CHADDERTON host Leek CSOB in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One tomorrow.
Manager Paul Buckley has no fit central defenders and will again put full-backs Danny Shaw and Chris Pauley at the heart of his defence.
Forward Gareth Edwards will play as an emergency left-back.
Buckley said: “We are still short of numbers.
“But the lads who played out of position did well in the last game when we beat Irlam 2-1, so they can hopefully do the business again.
OLDHAM Boro go to St Helens Town in the FA Carlsberg Vase first round proper tomorrow.
