NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY booked a ticket for the first round of the FA Vase after a superb 4-1 victory at Kidsgrove Athletic.
The Lilywhites took the lead through a Mark Connor tap-in after 23 minutes of the preliminary round replay, before Mike Oates doubled the advantage two minutes later from the edge of the penalty area.
Ben Richardson smashed home a free-kick 10 minutes before the interval.
Connor grabbed his second of the game after 73 minutes, prior to Danny Smith’s late consolation for the hosts.
Mossley go to Shepshed Dynamo in the next round on Saturday, October 16.
