Non-league Football: MOSSLEY take their FA Cup adventure to Lincoln Moorlands tomorrow in the third qualifying round of the competition.
Shaun Higgins’ men overcame a physical encounter at Dunston UTS in the previous round with a 2-1 victory.
Chris Rowney (shin) is again likely to miss out on the trip to the Kool Sport Nothern Counties League side, and the Lilywhites are still awaiting international clearance for Nigerian defender Hafeez Hamzat, who has joined them from Real Betis.
OLDHAM Boro travel to Daisy Hill in the Vodkat League Challenge Cup first round.
Boro manager Tony Mills will be relying on a number of young players, due to the absence of several seniors — Tom Hughes, Andy Smith, Lee Deakin, Jamie Rother and Matty Hampson.
“I will be using several members of the under-19s squad. I have called on some of them before and they have always acquitted themselves very well.
“The entire bench will be made up of under-19s, and I imagine there will be one or two starting the game as well.”
CHADDERTON’S first round game in the Challenge Cup is at Cheadle Town.
Boss Paul Buckley is without Keith Melvin (suspended), John Rogers (hamstring), Troy Hayder (calf), Ben Greenidge (ankle) and Lewis Maynard (knee), but Gareth Morris is back from suspension.
