Williams seals win

DARTS: LEE Williams held his nerve to clinch a 6-4 win for OIdham against hosts Little Holton in the Lancashire GMC Super Eights Elite Darts League.
Behind on two occasions, the town team fought back to lead 5-4 with one match remaining.
It was up to Williams to seal the win, and he kept a cool head to secure himself a 4-3 success with an average of 78.73 for every three darts.
Peter Connolly was the man-of-the-match. He notched a maximum 180 and averaged 91-57 in an emphatic 4-1 victory.
Also triumphant for Oldham were Peter Day jnr (4-1, 78.78 ave), Gary Jackson (4-3, 76.42), Dave Rawstron (4-2, 78.81) and John Moreton (4-3, 74.74).
Oldham’s next match in the Super Eights is against Burnley at the Flowerpot on Sunday (start 12.30pm).
