Trophy test for Mossley

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY press on with another silverware adventure tomorrow when they travel to Shepshed Dynamo in the FA Trophy first qualifying round.
The Lilywhites are already through to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, with Darlington standing in the way of a potential face-off with a League One or Two side.
Manager Shaun Higgins is enjoying every minute of the journey and said: “You can’t beat a cup run. It has got all the lads buzzing and we wouldylike to do well in the FA Trophy as well as the FA Cup.”
The Seel Park outfit are still awaiting international clearance for Nigerian defender Hafeez Hamzat (20), who has joined from Real Betis.
Graham Kay (knee) is the only other absentee, but he is expected to return to fitness in around a fortnight.
OLDHAM Boro host Ashton Town tomorrow in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Boss Tony Mills is without Jerome Bryson (groin) as his side chases a second win of the campaign.
“It is a big game for us, because a win would take us above Ashton Town on goal difference,” said Mills.
CHADDERTON take on AFC Darwen at home in a mid-table clash.
Manager Paul Buckley said: “It should be an interesting match because we are close to each other in the table.”
