Rangers ‘A’ on high after emphatic win

SADDLEWORTH Rangers ‘A’ thumped Bamber Bridge 42-0 in the Kukri North-West Counties League Division Four.
The emphatic victory takes Rangers to third in the table, four points behind leaders Hindley.
Rangers have now won four out of their first five matches in what has been a promising start to the season.
Waterhead ‘A’ were beaten 84-0 at home to Hindley, who made it six wins out of six.
Oldham St Anne’s ‘A’ went down to a 36-26 defeat at the hands of Haydock in Division One.
Connor Karran crossed twice for Saints, and was joined on the scoresheet by Andy Deakin, Niall Collins and Man of the Match Steve Crowther. Mark Lees goaled on three occasions.
