High fives for slick Heyside

HEYSIDE hit Grange Moor with five first-half goals to make it six wins out of six in Division Three of the Huddersfield and District League.
Jake Warburton (two), James Taylor, Ryan Barnes and James Leonard struck for the local outfit, who went on to record a 5-3 victory.
Heyside are level on points with pacesetters Shelley, with a game in hand.
In Division One, Uppermill picked up a great point at reigning champions Newsome, Kris Ventress getting the goal in a 1-1 draw.
And Diggle maintained their push for top spot with a 3-1 win at Cumberworth.
Uppermill’s second string registered a hard-fought 1-0 win at Shepley in Reserve Division One, while Diggle drew 3-3 at home to Netherton.
Uppermill ‘A’ put seven past Heyside with no reply in Reserve Division Two, and Diggle ‘A’ defeated Upperthong 2-1.
And Uppermill ‘B’ overcame Scholes ‘A’ in Reserve Division Four.
In the Works League, Uppermill fourths enjoyed a 5-2 win over Royal Dolphins.
