MOSSLEY have swooped to sign Kristian Dennis from neighbours Woodley Sports and he could be thrown straight into the action at Harrogate Railway Athletic tomorrow.
Lilywhites boss Shaun Higgins has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the Evo-Stik League Division One North clash.
Skipper Graham Kay is fit to continue his comeback from a knee complaint, while the presence of Dennis increases competition for places up front.
Higgins said: “I have watched Kristian for Woodley Sports and he is lightning quick.
“He plays off the shoulder of the defender, is left-footed and brings something a bit different to the squad.
“He has already scored 12 goals this season, so he is a good addition.
“Christian can hopefully take some pressure off Mike Oates, who has been knocking in most of our chances this season.”
Higgins is keen to build on the 4-0 defeat of Ossett Albion last time out.
“We just need to get some consistency,” he said. “I would like to see us put a run together and put more of our chances away.”
OLDHAM Boro travel to Abbey Hey tomorrow in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
After a sluggish start to the season, Tony Mills’ Boro outfit have enjoyed something of a revival, but it is their away form which has held them back this term.
Abbey Hey are third from bottom, one place and a solitary point behind Boro.
PAUL Buckley’s Chadderton host Holker Old Boys tomorrow.
A win could take Chadderton as high as sixth in the table. Holker have suffered from inconsistency this season, winning four games, losing four and drawing two.
