OLDHAM Boro earned a stunning 5-4 victory at Abbey Hey in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.

Will Buckley gave Boro an early lead before Martin Pilkington equalised after 24 minutes.

Scott Holt netted five minutes before half-time to give the hosts the lead, and Pilkington was on the mark again just after the interval.

Strikes from Wayne Ware after 56 minutes and Buckley a quarter-of-an-hour later made it all square.

Arnold Nsimbe put Boro back in front with 10 minutes left on the clock, only for Hey to draw level courtesy of James Moran with five minutes remaining.

It looked destined for a draw until a 25-yard screamer from Paul Brown with seconds to go earned Boro their first away win of the campaign.

Boro are on the look out for new players for the under-19 side.

CHADDERTON saw off Holker Old Boys 1-0 courtesy of a debut goal from 16-year-old forward Matty Woodall.
His first-half volley from the edge of the box gave Paul Buckley's team a hard-earned victory.

Gareth Morris was sent off for two bookable offences, meaning Chadderton had to hang on to their lead with 10 men in the last 30 minutes.

MOSSLEY suffered a last gasp 4-3 defeat at Harrogate Railway Athletic in Evo-Stik League Division One North.
Two goals in the first 10 minutes from Steve Palfey stunned the Lilywhites, before Lee Blackshaw pulled one back just before the interval.

Kevin Ryan restored Athletic's two-goal cushion minutes after the break.

Mike Fish reduced the deficit with a penalty shortly after the hour mark, and he struck again to level matters with three minutes remaining.

But Ryan pounced in stoppage time to seal the three points.
