Curley back after ban

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: CHADDERTON finally welcome back top goalscorer James Curley for tomorrow’s trip to Cheadle Town in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Curley was banned for a month after receiving a straight red card in a Sunday League match.
Not that Paul Buckley’s side have suffered too much in his absence as they sit in sixth place in the table.
But Curley has found the net nine times in all competitions this term, and will hope the form he showed prior to his spell on the sidelines was good enough to earn a recall to the starting line-up.
Buckley said: “It is good to have James back in the mix after what feels like a very long time.
“His goalscoring record this season speaks for itself, he is always a threat to opposition defences.”
Chadderton and eighth-placed Cheadle Town both have 18 points to their name, but Buckley’s men have a superior goal advantage.
