Away-day joy for Chadderton

Football: CHADDERTON earned a 4-3 victory at Cheadle Town in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One last night.
Tom Hughes put the visitors in front after 23 minutes, before Leon Melia extended the lead.
James McDonough pulled a goal back for Town on the stroke of half time, only for James Curley, back from suspension, to restore Chadderton’s two-goal cushion.
Barry Cotterill netted for the hosts with five minutes remaining, prior to Hughes grabbing his second for Paul Buckley’s side.
Dean McGergor was on target for Town in the dying seconds, but Chadderton held on.
