Saints ‘A’ set up Bridge showdown

RUGBY: OLDHAM St Anne’s ‘A’ continued their quest for North-West Counties League Challenge Cup glory with a 24-14 win at Langworthy Reds.
Saints are at home to Ince Rose Bridge in round two on Saturday.
Rochdale Cobras set up a mouthwatering second-round tie at Rochdale Mayfield in the NWCL Bowl this weekend after a 22-17 victory at Accrington Panthers.
But Saddleworth Rangers ‘A’ are out after losing 44-0 at Rylands Sharks ‘A’, and Fitton Hill Bulldogs were directed through the exit door by Widnes Tigers, who won 72-0.
