Rangers out to halt slide

RUGBY: SADDLEWORTH Rangers will bid to arrest their disappointing run of results by picking up a win at East Hull tomorrow (2pm kick-off).

Keith Brennan's side have lost their last four outings in the Premier Division of the National Conference League and sit fourth from bottom of the table.

Their opponents tomorrow are currently five points better off, but lost 32-12 at home last week — to rock-bottom Wigan St Patricks.

Rangers, meanwhile, hope to bounce back from a 30-20 home loss to Hull Dockers.

In Division One, Oldham St Anne's face a mid-table battle when travelling to Myton Warriors (2pm).

Mick Cashin's men are also looking to recover from defeat last week, when an unbeaten home record was lost at the hands of 24-14 winners Milford Marlins.

Waterhead are hunting for back-to-back victories in Division Two.

Garry Highton's side won 26-22 at home against East Leeds last week — a first triumph in five matches.

Another tough task lies in wait tomorrow (2.30pm), with fourth-placed Castleford Lock Lane entertaining the Peach Road side.
