First-class result for Flyers

RIDING:
FOUR talented riders based at Foxdenton Farm are celebrating an area title.
The “First-Class Flyers” won the North-West Team Championships at Rossendale and Hydburn Equestrian Centre, near Accrington.
Rebecca Tonge, riding Indie, Ellie Prior, on Mazindar, Emma Bland, partnering Cukorka Tunde — which is Hungarian for sugar plum fairy — and Natalie Burton on her mount Marlborough Classic, were the successful quartet.
They were up against 15 other teams in the competition, which comprised of three rounds.
The last round was a speed jump-off, where a nominated rider had to race against the clock.
Rebecca and Indie were chosen and they carried the “Flyers” to victory by two seconds.
