RUGBY LEAGUE: SADDLEWORTH Rangers' club secretary Peter Townsend took a closer look at the snow that caused the club’s home game against West Hull in the National Conference League Premier Division to be called off at the weekend.
Elsewhere, the visit of Oulton Raiders to Oldham St Anne's in Division One, and Waterhead's trip to Ovenden in Division Two, also fell victim to frozen pitches.
