RUGBY UNION: OLDHAM RU recorded a 33-26 home victory over Upper Eden in the North Lancs and Cumbria Division, outscoring their opponents by five tries to two to claim a bonus point.
The hard work of groundsman Alan Hollinsworth and his staff paid off as the Manor Park pitch was made playable.
