SNOOKER: LITTLE Cot ‘A’ hold a commanding lead at the half-way stage of the Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
An impressive 5-1 victory at home to Deaf ‘A’ has sent Cot 13 points clear of their nearest rivals.
Moss Inn ‘A’ recorded a 6-0 defeat of Oldham Boro to go joint second alongside High Crompton.
A 54 break by D Bamford in the third frame gave CBC the chance of a whitewash against Stanley Road, but Martin Merrington dug deep in the fourth frame, his 35 clearance averting a 6-0 scoreline.
