Oldham look to extend run

GUY LOVEGREEN — new Oldham RU coach
RUGBY: OLDHAM RU are on a roll in the North Lancs and Cumbria Division.
Unbeaten in their last three games — two draws and a win — Guy Lovegreen’s in-form side entertain De La Salle tomorrow (2.15pm).
Groundsman Alan Hollinsworth and his staff worked wonders last weekend to get the Manor Park ground fit for the visit of Upper Eden, and their graft was rewarded with a 33-26 victory.
They are sure to be hard at it again as the weather forecast for the weekend is very poor, with more frost and snow showers predicted.
Oldham will rely on the same starting XV as last Saturday, with Will Mellor retaining his place on the wing after scoring a brace of tries.
Prop Jordan McEwan, who was on the replacements’ bench, will get a run out in the ‘A’ team.
Rob Froggatt will take his place.
Oldham are looking to avenge a disappointing 19-8 defeat inflicted by De La Salle back in September.
