Mossley pegged back by spot kick
Date published: 30 December 2010
The Evo-Stik League Division One North derby ended 1-1 after striker Kristian Dennis had put the Lilywhites ahead with a left-foot thunderbolt midway through the first half.
But local rivals Curzon, playing some neat football, equalised just after hour mark. The visitors were awarded a penalty after a clumsy challenge, and Daniel Broadbent made no mistake with the spot-kick.
The match was originally scheduled to take place on Monday, but was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
However, there were no such problems last night and a crowd of 163 turned up to watch Mossley’s first match at Seel Park since November 23.
