NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL:
CHADDERTON beat Evo-Stik League Division One North opposition Curzon Ashton on penalties in the Manchester Premier Cup quarter-final last night, following a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Joe Jacobs, Danny Shaw and Sean Nolan were on target for Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One outfit Chadderton before Paul Buckley’s side held their nerve to win the shoot-out.
MOSSLEY suffered a 2-1 defeat at second-placed Chorley last night in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.
John Cunliffe struck for the hosts after 40 minutes, before Ben Richardson drew the Lilywhites level after the break.
But a Jordan Stephen penalty in the last minute won it for Chorley.
