TENNIS:
ROYTON Tennis Club want to attract new members with a view to entering more teams in the Dunlop Oldham Tennis League.
Although the junior section of the club is thriving following a recruitment drive in schools, the club’s senior membership is down to 25.
And club coach Bernie Cummins is hoping to boost that total before the new league season gets under way in April.
It does not matter whether you are a regular player or a novice at the game —Royton will be glad to take you on board.
For more information, ring Bernie (0779 6545032), Gillian Smith (0161 633 8185) or the club (0161 624 0377).
