Missed chances are costly

HEYSIDE suffered a 2-1 defeat to KKS Sun Inn in the Huddersfield and District League Division Three.
Carl Winstanley was on target for Heyside, but it proved nothing more than a consolation.
Heyside were left kicking themselves after missing a string of second-half chances, as they piled
forward in search of an equaliser.
Reserves Division One action saw Uppermill record a fine 5-1 victory at Honley, inspired by the
performance of Scott Thistleton.
In-form Thistleton notched a hat-trick. Mark Smith and Ash Stewardson completed the scoring for Uppermill.
Diggle clinched three points after earning a narrow 3-2 triumph at Netherton.
