Springbank replace Waterloo at the top

BOWLS: SPRINGBANK have moved to the top of the Inbev Winter Bowling League’s ‘A’ Division.
They lead Waterloo and Taunton by a point following an 8-3 victory over Royle and 6-5 verdict against Hopwood.
Matt O’Neill was the star of the show for Springbank with a 21-8 win against Royle and aggregate-clinching 21-3 verdict against Hopwood.
Vixens and Prestwich fought out a rare draw in the ‘B’ Division, but leaders Nimble Nook continued on their merry way with a 10-1 demolition of Stalybridge.
