SNOOKER: WITH Deaf ‘B’ two frames down in their Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League fixture against Stanley Road, Danny Reece was given the task of stemming the flow against Martin Merrington.
And he did just that with the help of a break of 46.
D Smith then levelled the scores before M J Smith recorded an emphatic victory in the last frame, courtesy of a break of 37, to make it 4-2 for Deaf.
DOBCROSS and Mossley moved further clear at the top of the Saddleworth Snooker League after impressive 5-1 and 4-2 wins against Greenfield 2 and Greenfield 1.
MOSS Inn had a fine 6-0 win over Comrades ‘B’ to go two points behind league leaders Comrades A in the Saw-Tech Snooker League.
Cartshaft have enjoyed three good results and are now just seven points behind the leaders, they’ve closed the gap by four points in the last three weeks.
