Stubbs in no hurry to turn pro

BOXING: TOMMY Stubbs has decided it is too soon to turn professional, and has set his sights set on clinching two more ABA titles.
The 20-year-old Northside star, who has returned from a 10-day training camp in Khazikstan with Team GB, has already won three such belts.
His step-father Wayne Morris said: “Tommy has been encouraged by some people to go professional now, but he believes he is too young and not quite ready to make the change.
“At the moment, his focus is on making it to the 2012 Olympics in London.
“If he gets there, he wants to make a big impression because he is obviously an ambitious lad.
“In the meantime, if Tommy can pick up a couple more ABA belts along the way, even better. That is one of his biggest priorities.”
