Rangers’ salute to departing star

RUGBY LEAGUE: SADDLEWORTH Rangers — without a game, due to the referee calling off the home clash with West Hull in the National Conference League Premier Division because of a frozen pitch — have paid tribute to departing star Shaun Robinson.
The 21-year-old full-back or winger leaves Shaw Hall Bank Road for the Oldham RL outfit, having collected international honours with both Great Britain (BARLA) under-21s and Great Britain Community Lions.
“All at Rangers wish Shaun well,” said club chairman Terry Flanagan.
“He has been outstanding at the highest level of the amateur game this season.
“This is a great example of how Oldham can select the best lads and give them an opportunity to play in the professional game.”
