SNOOKER: OLDHAM Boro were in top form in the Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
Playing host to Nimble Nook, they posted a flawless 6-0 victory, with G Cook recording a 36 break in frame four.
After five frames, the match between Three C’s and CBC finished all square on aggregate, despite the former winning four of the five.
The black was put back on its spot, and W Inman kept his nerve to secure a valuable point for CBC.
Summit meeting ends in deadlock
IT finished honours even when Dobcross and Mossley, the top two teams in the Saddleworth Snooker League, went head-to-head.
Austerlands 2, in third place, lost 4-2 against their number one side, who are bottom, and Greenfield 2 also upset the form book with an emphatic 5-1 defeat of Greenfield 1.
