Leaders stunned by 7-0 defeat

OLDHAM Snooker Academy ‘B’, leaders of Manchester League Division One, crashed to a 7-0 defeat at Denton Liberals.

But the ‘A’ team had a good 5-2 victory at home to Frames ‘A’ of Hyde with frame wins by Sajid Zamurd, Danny Gleeson and Farakh Ajaib.

Oldham ‘C’, setting the pace in Division Two, extended their lead with a narrow 4-3 win at home to Crucible ‘B’.

They trailed 2-0, but wins by Nasser Khan and Khalid Mahmood secured the aggregate.
